2009 brought some ups & downs in daily life, started slightly sad. feelings can really mess you up from time to time. some things are hard to see when you are in them, and after you take off the dark sun glasses everything turns out different. we all know that. then you have to take your time and push the reset button.
the 2nd half of the year was like one goal after the other. and starting new things means always progression.
some of the best things happen when you don't expect anything. you just have to notice them.
again I learnd a lot from life and I think everything happens for some reason.
2009 couldn't end better and 2010 even can't start better.

and by the way....photography is a real hard job sometimes. you have to give everything and in the end your head get screwed, haha....just kiddin.

we live & we learn. remember joy.

Actually we filmed and produced a little clip for Red Bull about the "Ride with Roczen" event. Ken Roczen invited 26 kids to his privat compound where they got the chance to get some privat coaching from the champ. The time schedule was tight and our crew worked hard.......some sleepless nights included.

Yesterday Mack McKelton joint us for trying out wakeskating behind the boat, Busty Wolter as skipper and me as "coach".
I knew it before that it would end like this......also because we forgot to bring our professionell rope with handle we had to build one by ourselves in a typical Mac Giver style....luckily Mack had a basic cord from the property market and as a handle we found a peacee of wood (that's how storys grow).....so this was defintly not the best set up, especially for fingers and hands.......at the end Mack crashed his fingers (but not from regular wakeskating).....anyway, watch the whole story in the upcoming trailer.

...just back home from Czech Republik from a perfect riders owend FMX Jam. Those Jams are the best!!

I just got hooked on theese photographs I took two weeks ago.
Sometimes there are magic moments in which everything feels so quite perfect, balanced and peaceful, that time should stand still.....like this sunset joyride wakeskate session two weeks ago.

This one goes out to all those which share that feeling of freezing the time....at least from time to time (you know what I mean).

....after Camp Larsmo we had a great finish of our trip while having a good time with the Lazy Troop and Ilkka Salo in the beautiful summerhouse of his family. Between some wakeboard/ wakeskate sessions around midnight, original Finnish wooden oven sauna, fishing and cooking, some good conversations while drinking French Pastis 51 we almost forgot to sleep. Later on, back in Germany we all felt something like big midsummer jetleg......

Right now I'm at Fredd Johansson's Sweetspot Allstars Jam in Sweden, do some filming for the official Sweetspot movie which will be produced by SPOTelicious. After that we continue our Skandinavien midsummer trip, taking the ferry up to Helsinki, Finland and heading then 500 km up north to Larsmo for the next jam, the "Camp Larsmo BBQ". Watch out for the Sweetspot Movie and some storys in motoX magazine.

the Dan Dryers (the band around my buddy Busty Wolter) worked on their 1st video clip. it was a wired action, exactly as i expected it....

Cause of political or financial reasons (whatever they invent) the Berliner Senat decided to close the grandmother of all airports worldwide, one of the most interesting (city) airports ever......I think they really don't know what they are doing. I was there a couple of times in the last weeks and of course also on the last day, Thursday the 30st October. I ended up in catching the last transmission between the pilot of the ancient JU-52 and the tower with a digital recorder. Tempelhof was the homebase of the JU-52 and the DC3 better knwon as the Rosinenbomber.

Joined the Night of the Jumps event last Saturday. The show was starring a couple of really good EURO and US Rider, like Mat Rebaud, Ailo Gaup, Adam Jones & Mike Mason to name a few. The pics below cover also the French weapon Monsieur Bizouard, who showed the crowd an amazing run. Beside that for us photogs there was a little hassle with the security guys, but on the other hand they just do what they are (or aren't) told.......(or maybe it's just a German phenomen?).

Last week I took some pictures of Germany`s famous FMX Pro Rider Busty Wolter. Actually on that pic he changed his moto-bike with his new Scott "TMO" mountainbike, doing a nice no-foot cancan.

You`ll find a lot of more new and unexpected pictures in the furthcoming SLACK magazine, like a whole homestory with some rare and privat-life pics.
Ah, and yes, he´s the guy who was present in one of the last "Wetten dass..." shows in December (Germanys biggest TV Saturday night show) where he proofed in front of a billion specators that he could land on an apple with his bike`s rear wheel after a 20 meter jump....
